Part 1. Driving with a best friend

Part 1.  Driving with a best friend.  Round majestic hillsides towards a getaway, the roads are densely accompanied with monstrous bonsai trees of brilliant crystalline lime green.

Part 2.  In a cabin, I look towards the far light and see a dense forest hundreds of feet below, with a vast river beyond.  On the far side begins another dense forest, and yet this time I notice something peculiar.  It’s a modest castle blended into the woods, and from it comes a rope, across this expanse, into the high cabins.  I grab a drink in my pocket and decide to make the journey across, with my friend.

Part 3.  Freedom.  I hang suspended in space as the vast water flows below and wind flows through me.

Part 4.  The castle ground is the joy of a dream as reality.  Feet plant into the soil and hope comes alive.  What peculiarities seem to be discoverable within the castle.  Inside, I go.

local assembly, simple building, chairs, people.  there is a woman sitting to my right.  we’re both very grey, very old, and very fat.  we’re casually speaking to each other with a finely tuned can only be reached after many years of being together.  we contribute to the chatter and await… well, whatever it is we were waiting for.  we speak without looking at each other, in the most casual of manners, and i know that she is my wife.

I had a dream my dad played bass for Sun Ra Arkestra.

I dream that I’m enrolled

I dream that I’m enrolled in elementary, middle high school college [Broad St Sch., Maple Av School, Nayatt School, St Andrews, RISD, Curry College, Emerson].  Have gone to sleep and wake up, missed semester worth of classes and assignments.  Never get a failing notice or report card.  Always end up graduating.

Dreamt my friend’s afro grew out and colorfully hung out the window as we drove in the summer.

I dream that I’m in subways

I dream that I’m in subways, tunnels, riding trains that are diesel and electric in cities all over, riding for miles and hours.  I’ve had this dream in Boston, Chicago, New York, L.A., London, Paris, Philadelphia, Tokyo and Moscow.  San Francisco as well.

In Ft. Lee, NJ, West Palm Beach, my Nana who died nine years ago is still alive, over 100.  In my dream, living on her own in various setting - still living but not in touch with anybody, she dies often at the very end of this dream
